Michelangelo Aveta is a Business Development Advisor at Eurelectric, the sector association representing the European electricity industry. With members in over 30 European countries, Eurelectric speaks for more than 3,500 companies in power generation, distribution, and supply.
In his daily tasks, Michelangelo contributes to the expansion of Eurelectric Business membership, bringing new and ambitious organisations to collaborate with the electricity industry's leadership and members to advance the shared goal of decarbonizing the European economy and the energy sector.
Prior to this, Michelangelo has been responsible for Eurelectric's expert groups the for decarbonisation and electrification of the mobility and the building stock.
Before joining the association in 2021, Michelangelo has several years of experience as a public affairs consultant advising associations and corporations from the automotive and transport sector. Michelangelo holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a master's degree in International Relations from the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, and a master's degree in European Political and Governance Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges.
