Mondas GmbH, based in Freiburg, is an innovative software company specializing in energy and IoT data analytics. Originating from the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, Mondas has grown since 2018 into a strong provider of robust, field-tested solutions for the digitalization and optimization of energy systems.

The core product is the mondas® data platform – a scalable Software-as-a-Service solution for the manufacturer-independent monitoring, analysis, and optimization of energy assets, buildings, and infrastructure. It enables the processing of large volumes of data in real time and supports operators in identifying efficiency potentials, reducing operating costs, and increasing yields.

Based on this platform, Mondas offers specialized software solutions for various application areas: PVisto® enables automated monitoring and analysis of large photovoltaic portfolios, while HeatWatch® Connect supports the digitalization and optimization of district heating networks. Additional solutions such as FacilityEQ® for building and technical building systems monitoring, CoGenus® for CHP analysis, and GeneriQ® for battery storage, transformer stations, and hydrogen systems cover the full spectrum of modern energy systems.

By leveraging advanced algorithms and AI-based analytics, Mondas supports municipal utilities, energy providers, operators, service companies, planners, and industrial clients in predictive maintenance and the intelligent operation of complex portfolios. The goal is to make the energy transition more efficient, transparent, and economically viable through data-driven decision-making.
