Tilt Energy is an ambitious European energy startup founded in 2023 by Romain Serres (ex-Blablacar, ex-Kiro) and Guillaume Louat (ex-Accuracy). Based in Paris, the company already has a team of 15 people. We have built an AI-powered and data-driven flexibility management platform dedicated to buildings, designed to accelerate the energy transition. In practical terms, we connect buildings' smart electrical devices to energy markets. We optimize their consumption—by shifting or reducing usage, especially during peak demand periods—to relieve the grid, prevent the activation of polluting power plants, and stabilize prices. The grid operator (RTE in France) compensates us for this, and we share these earnings with building owners.

What sets us apart:

• Our status as a certified demand response operator accredited by RTE
• Our advanced consumption forecasting models, trained on load curves from a wide range of distributed assets
• Our 100% software-based approach, agnostic to device brands and types

In a nutshell:
Our technology enhances the value of real estate assets (€1/m²/year), reduces electricity bills with no additional cost and no loss of comfort, and lowers carbon footprints while supporting the grid.
