Where can I get a certificate of my participation in The smarter E Europe?

We will be happy to issue you with a confirmation of participation on site (in the exhibitor office, Atrium Hall B2). Please feel free to drop by during the event! Please understand that this cannot be issued afterwards.

What are the opening hours for The smarter E Europe?

9.00-18.00 | Wednesday
9.00-18.00 | Thursday
9.00-17.00 | Friday

Is it possible to take part in guided tours of the exhibition on?

No, exhibition tours can be offered exclusively for delegations.

Are all entrances to the exhibition accessible without barriers?

The entrances to Messe München are barrier-free.
With a severely disabled pass, you can also park free of charge in the West multi-storey parking lot in the special parking areas at the front of each level and in the event parking areas in the outdoor exhibition area. Please exchange your parking ticket for a free exit ticket before leaving the parking garage. You can obtain this from the APCOA PARKING Deutschland GmbH office on level 0 in the multi-storey parking lot or directly at the barrier. In the event parking areas in the open-air grounds, please proactively show your severely disabled pass to the cashier on site so that you can enter free of charge.

Wheelchair rental
For more freedom of movement:
Wheelchairs are currently available at all entrances. They can be rented from security for a deposit of 50 EUR, payable in cash.

Sanitary facilities for wheelchair users are located in the West, East and North entrances, on the south sides of the A and B halls, on the north sides of the C halls, near the information counter and in all hall restaurants on the 1st floor.

What's the fastest way to get from one entrance to the other?

We offer an all-round shuttle around the MMG site on the following days

  • June 19, 2024 | Wednesday 08:00am–07.00pm
  • June 20, 2024 | Thursday 08:00am–07.00pm
  • June 21, 2024 | Friday 08:00am–07.00pm

The shuttle buses run non-stop at regular intervals between the West, East and North entrances of the exhibition.

Can I drop off luggage on site?

Yes, there is the possibility to drop off luggage at the corresponding checkrooms on site. These are located in the basement of the West and East entrances and on the first floor or 1st floor of the North and North-West entrances. The checkroom service only takes place when the entrance is open. As a rule, it begins 1 hour before the start of the trade fair and ends 1 hour after the close of the trade fair. For registered evening events, the opening hours will be adjusted accordingly.

Is there a maximum size for backpacks or bags?

No, there are no limitations here.

What catering options do I have on site?

You can choose between kiosk, snack bar or restaurant for your individual catering. There are catering options in each hall as well as in the atrium and the entrances. A detailed plan as an overview of the services on site can be found on site and in advance already here .

Free drinking fountains are available in our forums and at trade press booths. Use the water bottle you brought with you or get a limited The smarter E water bottle at the event.

Do you offer a printed catalog?

There is no catalog for The smarter E Europe. However, you will receive an event guide (incl. hall plans and exhibitor list incl. stand numbers) free of charge on site. We recommend that you use our online Exhibitor List , which you can filter according to various topics.

Are dogs allowed at your exhibition?

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on the grounds of Messe München. Exceptions are assistance dogs (e.g. guide dogs for the blind).


Are there any discounted train tickets?

We offer you in cooperation with Deutsche Bahn an exclusive offer for your comfortable Arrival and Departure to The smarter E Europe.

Are the exhibition tickets also valid as public transport tickets?

No, the exhibition tickets only include admission to the exhibition. Public transport tickets must be purchased separately via MVV .

Is there a transfer from the airport to the fair?

There are several convenient ways to travel from Munich airport to Messe München .

I need a VISA Invitation Letter, do you issue them?

We do not issue VISA Invitation Letters. The German Foreign Office does not require an invitation letter when applying for a visa, so the ticket purchased is sufficient proof in most cases. For more information, please visit the AUMA page .


Can I also buy a ticket on the ground?

Yes, tickets can also be purchased on site. However, we would like to point out that there may be longer waiting times when purchasing tickets on site. Please also note the prices valid on site Tickets .

What discounts are available for The smarter E Europe exhibition tickets?

We offer our day ticket at a reduced price of 29€ for pupils, students, pensioners and people with disabilities as well as a group ticket for 10 persons or more. Reduced tickets and group tickets are only available on site and with valid proof. You can find more information here .

I have received a voucher code, the redeem does not work. What can I do?

Please send a screenshot of the error message to Registration@fwtm.de. We will then take care of fixing the error as soon as possible.

I have received a voucher code, how do I redeem it?

Coupon codes and promo codes can be redeemed in our ticket store. These must be entered in the line above under "Voucher/Promo Code". Please note that there are no spaces in the code. The corresponding item will then be discounted. Then follow the steps in the Ticketshop to complete the registration .

I entered my email address incorrectly and did not receive a ticket. What can I do?

Please send us the name of the registered person and the correct email address to registration@fwtm.de. We will then take care of fixing the error as soon as possible.

Do I have to print out my ticket, or is digital sufficient?

You are welcome to use your ticket digitally. For this purpose, a wallet file is available in the attachment of the ticket confirmation.

Do children get tickets free of charge?

Children up to and including 14 years of age do not need a ticket for The smarter E Europe 2023.

My colleague is sick, can I use her ticket?

No, the visitor ticket is personal and cannot be passed on. A new visitor ticket must be booked via the ticket store.

I cannot come to the exhibition. Can I cancel my ticket?

There is a possibility to cancel entire orders. Unfortunately, we can not perform partial cancellations. Cancellation fees of 6% of the purchase price or min. 10€ are due per order. Please note our Terms and Conditions .

Can I pay the ticket by invoice?

Payment by invoice is not possible. We offer the following payment options: Payment by credit card (VISA and MasterCard), with PayPal or Klarna.

Can another person visit the exhibition with my ticket?

The tickets are personalized. They are valid only for the holder whose name and first name are printed on the ticket. It is not possible to transfer the ticket to another person.


How do I get a better overview in the exhibitor list regarding my fields of interest?

The exhibitor list offers you numerous possibilities to identify the companies relevant for you and to orientate yourself on site. In addition to the full-text search, you can also use the filter function to find suppliers from specific product groups, from specific countries or with specific offers such as job vacancies or product presentations.

The hall plan function allows you to quickly find your way around the hall. Select a hall, use the full-screen view and see directly which exhibitor is located where. If you prefer to go on a discovery tour, you can also use the sort function above the list to have the system display a list sorted according to your interests. This works better the more completely you have filled in the information about your interests in your Profile .

Is the exhibitor list available as an Excel download?

We only provide the online exhibitor list. A direct download of the list is not possible.

However, as a logged-in user you can use the favorites and favorites export function to export up to 250 exhibitor favorites as a PDF for your trade show preparation.

Is The smarter E Europe available online?

The smarter E Europe and the four exhibitions Intersolar Europe, ees Europe, Power2Drive Europe and EM-Power Europe will be held exclusively at Messe München. In addition, The smarter E also presents numerous digital events throughout the year - from webinars and The smarter E Podcast to a wide range of articles, interviews and industry news.

What are the advantages of logging in to the website?

The smarter E login area offers you a range of exclusive services and features to make your online and offline experience of The smarter E and its associated trade shows and conferences even better.

Among other things, registering on our website gives you the opportunity to mark exhibitors and program items as favorites and export them. In addition, by specifying your preferred topics in your profile, you can influence which content is recommended to you as a priority.

Why can't I log in to my user account on the website?

Please first check that you are using the correct access data.
In doing so, please note that the registration you perform when purchasing tickets is completely separate from registration on the website. The access data for the Exhibitor Cockpit are also not valid on the website.
You can use the forgotten password function to assign a new password for your account if necessary.

Also, make sure you have fully completed the website account registration process.
Your account for the login area of the websites will not be valid until your email address is verified. Upon successful verification, you will receive a welcome message from the system.
If you have already created an account but have not verified your email address within 48 hours, your data has been deleted.
You can create an account again at any time and complete the registration process.
