THE SMARTER E – MORE THAN JUST ONE EXHIBITION
Egon Schmitz, CEO, Axiotherm
“The EM-Power exhibition specializes in energy use, which is why it is such a perfect fit for us. Since heat storage is the only way of saving a lot of energy and carbon emissions, it will play a key role in ensuring the energy transition is a success. This topic is becoming increasingly important, as was also reflected by the interest shown in it by visitors, who incidentally were of a very high caliber.“
Luka Cuderman, Product Manager for Digital Services, Alpiq
“The trends we are seeing in the energy industry can be summarized as the three Ds: Digitalization, decentralization and decarbonization. These topics will play an increasingly crucial role in the future. The number of decentralized systems on the market is on the rise and they must be better integrated into the overall system. Achieving this calls for digital solutions like those already offered by Alpiq, and it was great to present these at EM-Power.“
Pirmin Reichmuth, CEO, ecocoach AG
“At EM-Power, we introduced our intelligent energy control center as a link between smart energy and smart homes. With our system, privately generated solar power is used intelligently and surplus capacity is optimally managed in conjunction with a smart home solution. The energy storage is integrated in the system and acts as an energy control center for all consumers, including e-mobility users. An extra option allows for a tenant power model for all building types. Decentralized and intelligent energy storage, distribution and use will shape the future of energy. The industry is currently focusing on how to combine this with the concept of smart homes.“
Friedrich E. Riempp, CEO R.I.E.MPP Industrieservice Elektrotechnik GmbH
The premiere of EM-Power, the first exhibition for intelligent energy use in industry and buildings, allowed us to reach our target audience. We made many good contacts on the three days of the exhibition. We were able to present an extended version of emsyst 4.0, our energy management system, the Smart Case energy measuring case to an interested audience. Trade visitors also had the opportunity to learn about our solution for digital production technology, which allows you to record and control the whole range of producers and consumers within a company. The extended version records spatially isolated items collectively and visualizes consumption in real time.
The exhibitors at this year's premiere of EM-Power are enthusiastic about the new exhibition concept: Four exhibitions are brought together on the innovation hub The smarter E Europe. EM-Power focuses on topics such as energy management, neighborhood energy concepts, energy services and contracting, power-to-heat applications and cogeneration systems.
