Founded in 2010, BaxEnergy is a multinational company with 80 people operating out of the Free Mind Foundry, an international cooperation hub located in south Italy.​ BaxEnergy has developed a pioneering REMS / APM software for monitoring and control of renewable power plants combined with turnkey solutions for industrial data collection and analysis.​

Our company offers leading multi-vendor cross-functional IoT operating software technology for visualizing, analysing & optimizing operations in wind, hydro, solar, geothermal, and combined cycle power plants. The technology also supports battery storage technology and can be used to monitor and control the production of green hydrogen and green ammonia.

BaxEnergy targets operators and asset managers of renewable infrastructure assets. ​Over time the company has interconnected over 120 GW of renewable energy (wind, solar, hydro and geothermal), in over 40 countries, monitoring more than 200,000 different generation units and 10 million data signals​.

The company’s product platform is used by Executives, O&M Managers and Field Technicians and integrates with a variety of external power forecasting, energy trading and price prediction systems. BaxEnergy’s monitoring platform is being extended outside the space of renewable energy to cover monitoring of combined cycle power plants, and hydrogen production facilities. ​

BaxEnergy’s solution is capable to generating savings and recapture revenues ranging from 1.5% to 4.5% of the yearly gross production.​
