Hydro-Comp is an Information Technology company that specialises in the implementation of the EDAMS integrated management systems and the provision of associated consulting services to the Government, Municipal and Utilities industries. The company’s solutions address productivity enhancement and cost-efficiency in its broadest sense – from integrated commercial and technical management systems to Commercial improvement programs and energy optimisation and energy planning studies for Electricity Market Operators.

Its practical experience in undertaking Utility management and engineering projects led to the development of industry-specific methodologies that, in turn, formed the basis of the “EDAMS” suite of Management Systems in use today.

The development of IT solutions and services necessarily involved major investments in intellectual property and specialised skill bases to the extent that Hydro-Comp now employs over 60 highly qualified consultants and software engineering professionals.

The company operates in North America, Africa and Europe, with offices in United States, South Africa, Cyprus, Egypt and Eastern Europe with close to 100 Utilities using the EDAMS Software.
