Standard load profiles no longer reflect real customer behavior – and that costs grid operators and suppliers real money. embee solves this with AI.

We analyze smart meter and substation data to determine which assets are actually connected to the grid and how customers truly behave. The result: high-resolution load profiles and time-series simulations – geographically and temporally precise instead of generic.

For distribution grid operators, grid-specific profiles replace standard load profiles in the balancing group. This lowers balancing energy costs and, through substation data disaggregation, creates transparency for grid planning and the §14a rollout.

For electricity suppliers and utilities, we deliver reliable customer profiles and automatic asset detection from smart meter data – the basis for precise procurement, pricing, and prosumer supply in a market of dynamic tariffs.

Complemented by our HEMS model, which realistically represents prosumers and makes flexibility effects such as §14a EnWG simulatable.
