Individual company presentation

KUNBUS, the company behind Revolution Pi, the open hardware platform for the energy sector.

Revolution Pi is an open, modular and cost-effective industrial PC based on the well-known Raspberry Pi. Equipped with the Raspberry Pi Compute Module, the basic module can be seamlessly expanded with suitable I/O modules and fieldbus gateways depending on requirements. Housed in a top-hat rail housing, the base modules already have USB, Ethernet and HDMI connections. The base and expansion modules are supplied with the 24 volts that are standard in the industry. In addition to the disclosure of the circuit diagrams, the open source concept is consistently continued with the software. A specially adapted Raspberry Pi OS including the drivers for the expansion modules, real-time patch, process image and other features are pre-installed ex works. The use of Raspberry Pi OS ensures that, in principle, any software or application that runs on a Raspberry Pi will also run on the Revolution Pi. Full root access allows you to integrate your own programs without any obstacles.

With a team of over 150 employees and four development sites, we work hard to create next-generation technologies. Our modern production site in Germany ensures the highest quality and reliability. Thanks to our network of over 30 international sales partners, we offer our customers first-class service and support worldwide.
